[size=30]Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani received in his office today, Monday, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Iraq, Muntaser Al-Zoubi.[/size]
[size=30]A statement by the ministry said, "The minister affirmed Iraq's keenness on its commitment to activating the work of the Iraqi-Jordanian bilateral committee and signing memorandums of understanding between the two countries and activating them in the near future with regard to cooperation, legal and judicial exchange, and the exchange of prisoners."[/size]
[size=30]The minister pointed out that "the government curriculum aims to be a government service that is concerned with meeting all the needs and requirements of citizens," stressing "the depth of the distinguished relationship between the government and the legislative authority, and that Iraq is looking forward to Arab support by calling for hosting the 39th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice.” Baghdad this year.[/size]
[size=30]For his part, the Jordanian ambassador expressed his happiness at the opportunity to hold this meeting and discuss important files between the two countries, especially with regard to the exchange of prisoners between Iraq and the Kingdom, pointing to the Kingdom's support for Iraq's invitation to hold the ministerial meeting in Baghdad.[/size]
