    Economy News-Baghdad
Today, Monday, the Federation of Iraqi Industries announced the submission of proposals and a working paper to the government that includes supporting the private sector and controlling price fluctuations in the market, while noting that opening credits will solve the problem of goods that have been subjected to price fluctuations.
The head of the Federation of Iraqi Industries, Adel Akab, told the Iraqi News Agency, "There are continuous meetings with the prime minister and his office regarding market fluctuations as a result of the dollar's rise," pointing out that "industrialists have taken it upon themselves to support the government's measures despite their large losses, since most of the raw materials are imported in dollars." .
He added, "There are treatments to control prices, and the government is serious about involving the private sector and knowing its vision in this regard," noting that "the country was late in opening outlets for selling dollars, especially remittances that were taken from the market, which generated private markets that spent in the Iraqi market."
And he stressed, "The direct opening of credits and special accounts for industrialists, based on the Prime Minister's directive, for the purpose of financial transfers," explaining that "this plan, if implemented, which needs seven days to open the credit, will contribute to controlling prices."
And he indicated that "there is a problem that occurred, represented by the coming goods that were subject to price fluctuations, but in general, the step of opening credits is a large part of the solution. Today, the raw materials that we rely on during their arrival are at the subsidized price, which is 1470 dinars."
He pointed out that "the problem of changing prices through commodities, especially foodstuffs, was sold at 250 dinars. Today, if it rose to 500 dinars, in the absence of small amounts of cash, especially iron, that meet the need for 350 dinars, this is what the industrialist suffers from, but the Prime Minister issued instructions to solve it."
And he continued, "We have proposals that were submitted to the prime minister's advisors, and there are private sector partnership laws with the public sector that were previously only on paper. Today, there are signs of their implementation, especially the recent decision, which is the involvement of the Federation of Industries and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce within the Ministerial Council of Economy," indicating, "There is a working paper." It was presented to the Prime Minister, including 28 paragraphs, including solutions for the private sector.
