, Minister of Construction and Housing, Bengin Rikani, confirmed the work to distribute a percentage of the serviced land to the citizens.
The ministry stated, in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that "the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Bengin Rikani, chaired the first meeting of the team to solve the housing problem in Iraq, which was recently approved by the Council of Ministers, in the presence of the head of the advisory board, the Mayor of Baghdad, the head of the National Investment Commission and representatives of the rest of the government." The
minister mentioned during the meeting, according to the statement, that "one of the team's tasks is planning and supervising the new residential cities project within the government program, and working to make them smart, sustainable, environmentally friendly, and attractive cities."
The minister added, "The team will work on setting standards for construction and others for comparison between developers and investors, in addition to working on distributing a percentage of the serviced lands to citizens, and preparing annual and connecting roads to these cities." Ended 29 / h.
