Integrity recovers two trillion dinars over the past year

The Integrity Commission recovered more than two trillion dinars, while the number of criminal cases referred to the courts reached about four thousand cases, in which more than five thousand defendants were referred, including 13 ministers and those of his rank. The head of the commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, said on the sidelines of the conference it held yesterday to announce its annual report and was attended by “Al-Sabah”: The total funds recovered by the commission and court rulings issued to refund them or prevent their waste and returned to the treasury exceeded one trillion and 250 billion and 200 million dinars during 2022.
