    The Integrity Commission announced, on Thursday, that it had ousted a network of 25 employees in the Reform Department and two of its officials in a major qualitative operation, pointing out that it had seized hundreds of transactions, exchange documents and regulatory instruments in violation of instructions and controls, and that the process thwarted the waste and damage of public money in billions of dinars. The commission stated, in a statement received by "Al-Iqtisad News," that "the cadres of the Integrity Commission were able to carry out a qualitative operation in the Iraqi Reform Department that overthrew (25) defendants, in addition to the assistant general manager of the department and the director of the accounts department in it, and seized hundreds of transactions and instruments that were organized." Contrary to the law, as this resulted in thwarting the waste and damage of public money worth (23,362,650,4000) billion dinars.
    The Commission's Investigation Department added, "The operation, which was carried out according to a judicial note issued by the investigation judge of the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court, stated that the Commission's Investigation Directorate in Baghdad has formed a team of auditors, investigators, and investigators to investigate and investigate the validity of information indicating the existence of a forgery and manipulation process in organizing hundreds of transactions." Exchange in the Iraqi Reform Department for the benefit of the National Company for Metal Industries and Bicycles.
    And she added, "The team was able, after moving to the headquarters of the Correction Department, to seize (25) employees red-handed in organizing transactions, in order to spend their amounts outside the controls and instructions, and organize checks in them without preparing the materials duly," noting that "the process also resulted in the seizure of (502) transactions, including (79) A fully completed transaction is contingent on the transfer of the instrument to the authorized person of the company.
    And she indicated that “of those transactions (230) were transactions in which an original exchange document was organized, as they were seized before documents were organized in them, pointing out that the rest of the transactions were almost regulated for them by the exchange document and the documents in them, but the directorate’s team was able to stop the completion of the procedures Transactions that violate regulations and instructions.
    She added, "The audits and investigations conducted by the team, preliminary investigations, and statements of the accused showed that the National Company for Metallurgical Industries and Bicycles is a mixed company and not affiliated with the Ministry of Industry, and there were no purchase offers, and there was no inventory entry document for the materials, and there was an exaggeration in prices by approximately ( 5-10) times the price of the material in the local markets for the materials to be equipped with.
    And she emphasized that "the absence of a fundamental contract based on the instructions of the federal budget and the instructions for the implementation of contracts between the repair department and the company, in addition to the presence of transactions that were organized in a repeated manner for the same materials to be processed, meaning that the exchange for one material is "in two installments."
    And she explained, "The defendants were accompanied by the seizure records, transactions, instruments, and exchange documents to the competent investigating judge, who decided to arrest the accused, and issue an arrest warrant against the assistant general manager and director of the accounts department in the department after the defendants confessed. legal rights against them."
