    Director General of the Private Sector Development Department at the Ministry of Commerce, Mohamed Hanoun, revealed a new strategy to support unemployed youth by supporting international organizations and finding sources of support for medium and small enterprises.
    On the sidelines of a dialogue session with international organizations, Hanoun said, "The session witnessed a discussion of a number of challenges facing international organizations in implementing their projects inside the country, as well as a discussion of a new strategy for the employment of unemployed youth, and the department's directions in working to develop small projects and entrepreneurship through its cooperation." With an introduction company for training and holding conferences in the implementation of the entrepreneurship program.
    Hanoun added, "Representatives of more than 12 international organizations were heard, most notably the World Bank, the German Agency for International Development (G12), the International Trade Center (ITC), the Institute of Continuing Education at the American University in Baghdad, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the World Food Program and the German Liaison Agency for Industry and Trade in Iraq). And the support they provide for small projects and entrepreneurship, whether financial support, training and adoption of youth projects from idea to investment, as well as programs for women.
    The representatives of the organizations explained during the session, "Supporting small projects requires the existence of an official database of the number of young people and their level of education and skills, then targeting them in programs designed for this purpose and finding job opportunities for them. It is important to develop a clear strategy on how to support small projects and entrepreneurs, promote these projects and distribute grants." by sectors.
    The session concluded with "concluding cooperation and partnership agreements with these organizations in order to support small projects and entrepreneurs and develop a clear policy in this regard."
