Anbar expects the completion of the major customs city by the end of 2023

, the mayor of Ramadi district in Anbar province, Ibrahim Al-Awsaj, suggested that the customs city be completed by the end of this year.
Al-Awsaj said in a statement to "Al-Sabah" that "the city has almost reached its end after completing the fence and internal civil works," noting that "the matters related to warehouses and others have not been completed yet."
The Qaimmaqam added, "The work will be at an increasing pace until reaching the end of the year, which is the expected date for completing the works and handing over the project to the competent authorities."
