Wahhab Politicians stated that the "Development Path" project is the important step that will restore Iraq to its economic position in the region, in addition to the advantages it enjoys as a pivotal country capable of change. They also emphasized that the Sudanese government succeeded in what previous governments failed to do. .
The independent politician, Dr. Aed Al-Hilali, said in an interview with "Al-Sabah": "The follower of the Iraqi issue finds that the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani has broken all the restrictions that shackled previous governments, and that rendered them incapable in the past to take any step that would improve the Iraqi reality." Who suffered a lot from obsolescence and deterioration, until it hit all the joints of the Iraqi state, and it became almost collapsed, in addition to the entry of (ISIS) and the drop in oil prices, all of which made change almost impossible.
He added, "The process of change needs major surgeries in which rampant corruption, nepotism, bribery, quotas, etc., etc., will be eradicated. Consequently, all previous governments were unable to achieve any change, even if it was small, in the paths of the faltering political process due to the constant threats internally and externally."
He pointed out that "the recent elections produced, through a caesarean section, a government that, within a short period of time of its life, was able to stop the state of deterioration and move very quickly towards making improvements and changes in all joints, and to put the Iraqi state on the threshold of a new phase capable of carrying all the burdens that incurred on it as a result of the grave mistakes in the field." The previous stages,” and he indicated that “the Sudanese government has begun to develop a plan to implement the government program – which it is so far – literally committed to implementing its paragraphs and within the specified timetables. Arab and foreign countries and large companies have already entered into negotiations with the Iraqi government in order to contribute to this project, which will be a link between East and West trade.
He explained that "the (Development Road) project will contribute significantly to the development of the infrastructure of the Iraqi state through land and railway transport lines and the establishment of residential cities that could work to solve the housing crisis, as well as the establishment of industrial cities, tourist cities and projects that will spread on both sides of the country." The Road".
And he noted that "it is hoped that a development process and a great renaissance will take place, because the Faw port project - even if it is completed - will be worthless without the (development path) and the projects that were contracted with the French company (Total) recently and the projects that will be announced in the coming days." In the future, and it is only one complementary series to the other for a government program that the Sudanese government has committed itself to, in order for Iraq to return to play a major role in drawing up the region's economic, security and political policies, and to form and build economic alliances in which Iraq will be the center of the mill.
For his part, political analyst Dr. Talib Muhammad Karim told Al-Sabah that “the (Development Path) project is the strategic project in the region that will activate a large area of the economy, development and investment sector, and thus create international partnerships that increase the confidence of governments among themselves and create climates Security according to the logic of the higher interests of these countries.
He added, "Iraq has a great need to integrate into these vital projects that will be reflected in the social and public reality by providing thousands of jobs and employing the workforce, in addition to introducing a new formula of diversifying the economic resource, which in turn will be another resource parallel to national imports such as oil, gas, agriculture and industry."
He pointed out that "the sustainability of the project and the maximization of imports are achieved through following up the projects and giving a role to those with experience, competence and integrity to maintain the continuity of the project and investing the time factor and the presence of the Sudanese government that is pushing hard towards the realization of these projects."
