    And the Prime Minister stated that "we launched a campaign (16) days to combat violence against women, which takes multiple forms related to physical, psychological and spiritual violence by coercing and depriving them of their right to education, or preventing them from possessing leadership in administrative positions, or making them prey to poverty and need." .

    He explained that "one of the aspects of violence against women is their failure to enable them to perform their life tasks, in a manner commensurate with their psychological mood and innate preparations that God has endowed them with, without polluting this common sense."



    He continued, "We are not against all laws or agreements that work to empower women, but rather we record our observations on those that contradict our values ​​and paths." guidance for women.

    The statement added, "The cabinet approved the National Strategy for Iraqi Women (2023-2030), and the government is working to implement it, and it includes axes for participation, protection, economic empowerment, and social axes."

    He pointed out that "the law of Yazidi survivors has been activated, and this law has expanded to include Turkmen women and all components, and all sacrifices, including mothers and wives of martyrs, in all parts of the country," noting Al-Sudani: "Our government is proud today that women are shouldering responsibility in the highest executive positions, and are represented in Our government has three ministries, in addition to the top positions."

    Al-Sudani added, "Women have exceeded today the women's quota in parliamentary representation, to approach one-third of the number of parliament members, after it used to stand at a quarter." He explained: "We will spare no effort to provide everything that achieves a decent life for our women, and wards them off injustice. And make them rise to the position that befits them.”

    The Prime Minister affirmed, "There is no prejudice against women, nor discrimination, bias, or stereotyping that puts them in a lower rank, but rather they are men's partners in building Iraq," noting that "our responsibility towards women and preserving their rights is a human and moral responsibility before it is legal or executive."

    Al-Sudani concluded, "Greetings to all women on this day, and I bless all the efforts that work for women's fairness, protection, care, and sponsorship."
