The representative of Nineveh Governorate, Waad Qaddo, confirmed on Wednesday that the people of the Nineveh Plain rejected the return of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to their areas.

Qaddo said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The Nineveh Plain does not suffer from any security challenges, but rather political challenges represented by attempts to restore the Kurdistan Democratic Party despite the popular and popular rejection of any step in this direction.”
He added, "The rejection comes because the people tasted the bitterness of the presence of the Kurdistan Democratic Party before 2014 because of its crimes against the people," explaining that "the return of the party does not represent the opinion of the people in those areas, and any pressure in this direction does not serve the public interest."
He pointed out that "the opinion of the people in the Nineveh Plain areas must be listened to in any decision, as they are the decision makers and they are the ones who decide the fate of their areas."
The Nineveh Plain consists of several nationalities and sects, including most of the colors of the Iraqi spectrum, and they are very vast areas. End 25 F
