    The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by Al-Sumaria News, “The Council of Ministers approved a draft law on the right to access information and is referring it to the House of Representatives for legislation.

These obstacles are sometimes represented by existing laws, and other times by the failure to legislate a law that allows freedom of access to information.     Baghdad - Mawazine News
    Today, Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved a draft law on the right to access information.
    The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement, a copy of which was received by Mawazine News, that "the Council of Ministers approved, during its session held today, a draft law on the right to access information."
    He added, "The draft law has been referred to the House of Representatives for legislation." Ended 29/h
