Al-Tamimi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The tweets of the American ambassador in Baghdad to justify the crimes of recently targeting the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces, which resulted in martyrs and injuries, were fabricated and aimed at spreading lies to target the Popular Mobilization Forces,” pointing out that “what happened is an attempt to justify the bloodshed and cover up the Its accumulated failure in the Middle East region.
He added, "Targeting the Popular Mobilization Forces is an intentional and premeditated act by the American forces, which see the Mobilization Forces as a force that threatens their agenda in Iraq and was the reason for ending the influence of the terrorist ISIS."
He pointed out that "the time has come for a national stance demanding the departure of all American forces present in Iraq because they are a source of a security threat and there is a lot of evidence documenting their relationship with terrorist organizations in the country."
