    Member of the House of Representatives, Zahra Al-Bajari, confirmed today, Tuesday, the holding of the Parliament session to choose the replacement for the expelled Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, adding that there is agreement from most political blocs to elect a new Speaker of Parliament in tomorrow’s session.  
    Al-Bajari said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “Parliamentary invitations were sent to the Sunni component to attend and choose the personality of the Speaker of Parliament,” noting that “what facilitates the selection of the alternative personality from the Sunni forces is the nomination of a small number of representatives to vote on one personality.” 
    She continued, "A quorum for tomorrow's session will be achieved in view of the efforts of most political blocs to resolve an alternative to the presidency of the House of Representatives," noting that "there is agreement from most political blocs on the issue of electing a new speaker of Parliament, in order not to reach the constitutional vacuum for the position."  
    The representative of the coordinating framework, Thaer al-Jubouri, had confirmed in an interview with the “Maalouma” agency, that “the identity of the replacement for the expelled Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, has been identified,” while he confirmed that there is a consensus among the political forces affiliated with the coordination framework to nominate Representative Mahmoud al-Mashhadani for the presidency of Parliament. . 
    The House of Representatives had set earlier, tomorrow, Wednesday, the date for choosing a replacement for the expelled Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, after his membership was terminated by the Federal Supreme Court due to proven forgery and tampering with the official books of the House of Representatives and a number of issues that have not yet been resolved.
