. A number of applicants for inclusion in the social protection network complained about the delay in the appearance of their names, despite months having passed since the researcher visited them.
The citizen, Ali Hussein Kazem, told Al-Sabah that the social researcher visited him more than eight months ago and completed the search process and told him that he would be contacted, but he has not obtained any results yet, despite meeting all the conditions required for inclusion. For her part, Dr. Sanaa Al-Moussawi, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Social Protection Affairs, attributed the reasons for the delay to the lack of the social protection departments in the governorates of the logistical capabilities and infrastructure that facilitate their work, indicating that the numbers of applicants for inclusion are very large, which requires the availability of modern devices and systems to introduce them. To solve these problems, Al-Mousawi confirmed that the government allocated three percent of the budget to complete what the social protection departments needed in their work, stressing to the governors the necessity of including infrastructure projects for the social care departments within the regions’ development budgets, noting at the same time that the government included two million and 159 thousand. Families in the social protection network, which is a large number, need a database and a district with the ministries to know the names that are not worthy in order to delete them.
She stated that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs does not have a network connection with most ministries to boycott the information of applicants for inclusion, so it works through
the data and disks that it obtains from the aforementioned authorities, to boycott the information and delete the names that receive appointments or cases of death, etc., so it was deleted during the past year.
