    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed today, Sunday, that Iraq’s relationship with countries depends on the extent of their cooperation in recovering public money and wanted persons.

    The Prime Minister said in a speech during the first anti-corruption conference attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We have formed a committee to follow up and address lagging government projects and resolve them,” pointing out that “the audit team for complaints related to corruption files examined 71 files in various sectors and conducted an administrative investigation into 24 cases.” We were instructed to form a committee to review previous contracts on which there were notes.”
    He pointed out that "a comprehensive evaluation of the general directors and agents was conducted, and we formed a committee responsible for restructuring the government apparatus," adding that "we issued instructions to facilitate the implementation of the law abolishing financial privileges for officials, and we directed the automation of taxes and customs and we established the unified treasury account," indicating that "if...
