The technical advisor to the Prime Minister, Mohamed Sahib Al-Daraji, confirmed today, Sunday, that there is no salary crisis in Iraq, while indicating that parties in the coordination framework fear the success of Prime Minister Mohamed Al-Sudani.

Al-Daraji said in an interview with the Twenty program broadcast on Al-Sumaria TV, “All salaries are insured in Iraq,” pointing out that “salaries will be affected if oil prices decrease.”

He pointed out that "the United States reduced the cash flow to Iraq, made the financial transfer process difficult, and imposed more sanctions on Iraqi banks," calling for "a decisive and firm political decision and a diplomatic campaign to address these issues."

He stated, "The Central Bank of Iraq failed to keep pace with the outside world on the issue of electronic payment," considering "the Corona period as a testing period for 100% electronic financial dealings," noting at the same time that "dollar smuggling continues, but has decreased significantly."

He pointed out that "foreign banks in Iraq are making irrational profits from the currency difference, and are not investing these profits inside the country."

Al-Daraji considered that “the American sanctions on banks, companies and entities put pressure on the government and are completely unfair,” at a time when the government advisor did not rule out “the extension of these sanctions to include official state institutions.”

In another context, the Sudanese advisor confirmed that “the old political forces fight everyone who succeeds, and there are parties within the coordination framework that fear the success of the Prime Minister,” adding: “The Sudanese job has disturbed the framework at a time when they are supposed to use these achievements to their advantage because they are the ones who He brought him as head of the Iraqi government.”

He believed that "the withdrawal of the Sadrist movement created a state of political imbalance," holding citizens "part of the responsibility for the existence of the current political class," noting that some citizens express their political opinion through "staying at home."

He concluded by saying: "The political forces are looking for a weak government to achieve their interests."
