    On Friday, the International Smart Card Company (Ki Card) revealed the results of its participation in the Iraq International Book Fair.
    The director of the company’s awareness department, Muhammad Ali Saeed, said on the sidelines of his participation in one of the sessions of the Iraq International Book Fair, which was attended by the “Al-Iqtisad News” correspondent, that “the international smart card company (Qi Card) issued more than a thousand electronic payment cards during the exhibition.” Pointing out that “purchase transactions through cards exceeded 1,500 transactions.”
    He added, "The value of the amounts paid through these cards ranges between 30 or 40 million dinars," noting that "the value of the amounts that visitors loaded their cards with exceeded the barrier of 250 million dinars."
    Ali stressed "the necessity of integration between citizens' electronic accounts and their bank accounts, because this would facilitate many banking operations inside and outside Iraq."
