    Economy News - Baghdad
    During January of this year, the Iraqi state’s spending amounted to more than 8.7 trillion dinars. 
    According to the Ministry of Finance, operational spending amounted to 8.1 trillion dinars, while investment spending amounted to 646.3 billion dinars. 
    Employee salaries amounted to 4.5 trillion dinars during the first month of this year, while social care amounted to 1.8 trillion dinars, and repayment of internal and external debt amounted to 1.5 trillion dinars. 
    Iraq achieved oil revenues of more than 10.2 trillion dinars, while non-oil revenues amounted to 11.5 trillion dinars.
