An Iranian sociologist warned that the “Gini coefficient,” which measures the class gap, had reached alarming levels in Iran, and was ahead of the average in Iraq, noting that one of the reasons for the 1957 revolution was the high level of this coefficient and the class gap.

He points out that "there are worrying signs in this society.
