{Economic: Al-Furat News} The Ministry of Oil confirmed its commitment to the Declaration of Cooperation (DoC) agreement and to voluntary reductions and compensation for any surplus production since the beginning of 2024.
She pointed out that “commitment to the level of production required in the agreement amounts to (4) million barrels per day for the month of June and the coming months.”
The OPEC+ alliance agreed on June 2 to continue the voluntary oil alliance cuts of about 1.66 million barrels per day that were announced in April 2023, in place until the end of 2025.
The 22 members of OPEC Plus agreed today, Sunday, to extend the current cuts in their oil production until the end of 2025, which were scheduled to end at the end of 2024, in order to support prices in the face of many factors of instability.
