Today, Monday, a number of clerics in Anbar Governorate condemned two statements made by the candidate to represent the United States of America in Baghdad, Tracy Jacobson, which targeted Iraq.
Sheikh Naji Al-Zubaie said about them to the Maalouma Agency, “Ambassador Jacobson is trying to draw a map tailored to her government’s size to manage the country, and this is what was rejected for more than 20 years.”
He promised, "The American policy in Iraq has failed miserably, indicating that all the Iraqi people reject this policy except the drummers."
He added, "All the problems facing the country are due to American interventions," indicating the presence of hidden intentions revealed by the new ambassador.
Jacobson preceded her arrival in Iraq with provocative statements that aroused the anger of Iraqis at the popular and political levels, while some national voices demanded that her entry into Iraq be rejected. End/12A
