The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region announced today, Sunday (July 21, 2024), sending lists of salaries for the region’s retirees to the central government in Baghdad.
The ministry said in a statement received by Baghdad Today that "the July salary list has been submitted to the Iraqi Ministry of Finance."
She added that she "submitted the July payroll list for all employees and security and military agencies to the General Directorate of Accounting in the Ministry of Finance in the federal government."
She explained that "sending the lists of retirees' salaries was done in accordance with the Unified Retirement Law."
