Maritime Authority Law on Parliament's Table

The Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee met to submit proposals regarding the Communications and Information Technology Law, in addition to discussing the Iraqi Supreme Maritime Authority Law.
Committee member Faten Al-Qaraghouli told Al-Sabah that the committee is currently discussing the Iraqi Supreme Maritime Authority Law due to its importance in consolidating the country's sovereignty, noting that since 2002 until now, the flag has not been allowed to be raised on Iraqi ships.
She pointed out that another important law is the Communications and Information Technology Law, which the government withdrew to submit proposals regarding it, adding that after researching and discussing it, important categories and figures were identified to obtain opinions to amend some of its paragraphs.
