The leader of the Shiite National Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on Friday on the normalizing countries to close the Israeli embassy, while he addressed an invitation to the Iraqi government and parliament.
Al-Sadr said in a tweet on the (X) platform, followed by (Al-Rabia): "As a first step: I call on the Arab and Islamic countries that normalize with the Zionist enemy to close the Israeli embassy and boycott its products comprehensively, and work to issue strict decisions by the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to pressure the Security Council and the United Nations to take the necessary measures against the brutal Zionist terrorism, especially after the Zionist terrorist recklessness in the Middle East, which it has weakened, otherwise there is no time for regret." He continued, saying: "According to my understanding, any country that does not boycott or close the embassy must take the necessary diplomatic and international measures to support the oppressed in the East and West of the earth
