The House of Representatives included in its agenda, today, Sunday, the re-reading of the general amnesty law, as it was presented as the first paragraph of its work.
Member of the Legal Committee, Raed Al-Maliki, said in an interview with Al-Sabah: Although there are no objections to the first reading of the draft law, there are comments on its proposed wording, indicating that the comments raised do not mean its rejection, but rather aim to improve its wording.
Al-Maliki explained that there are those who do not distinguish between specific comments on the drafting of the law and its rejection, stressing that the first reading of it will take place as scheduled, noting that it was previously included in the parliament’s agenda and its reading was postponed.
