[rtl]The Investment Authority announced today, Tuesday, granting a license for the Sustainable Green City of Baghdad, which is considered the first major environmental project in the Middle East, while confirming its intention to launch the (blue ammonia) project as an alternative to oil.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Chairman of the Investment Commission, Haider Makiya, said, "The Commission issued an investment license, the first of its kind in Iraq, on 3/28/2024 for the Sustainable Green City of Baghdad, which is the first major environmental project in the Middle East."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that "the authority obliged investors with an official letter in order to increase the percentage of afforestation and green spaces according to the designs approved by the sectoral authorities."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "the Authority intends to launch the (blue ammonia) project, which is an alternative to oil, as it will help equip factories, and has economic outputs, in addition to strategic projects that will be announced after completing their procedures."[/rtl]
