The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities confirmed that the Fourth Ring Road will connect all entrances to Baghdad to new residential cities and highways.
The ministry's spokesman, Nabil Al-Saffar, said in a statement to the official media, "There are three circular roads surrounding Baghdad, but all of them are incomplete," stressing that "the ministry has now begun the fourth circular road and completed its designs."
He explained that "the fourth ring road will connect all entrances to Baghdad to the new residential cities, and will also be connected to the first, second and third ring roads, which are Al-Muthanna Airport Road, Mohammed Al-Qasim Road and Salah Al-Din Expressway," revealing "a future plan to establish the fifth ring road."
