Al-Hussaini said in a statement to Sumaria News, "The Turkish incursion into northern Iraq is one aspect of the exhaustion of the Iraqi economy, and there is another aspect and sources that indicate the entry of drilling and exploration machinery for oil and other numerous minerals and natural resources in Iraq."

He pointed out that "the Turkish forces' commission of crimes and shedding of Iraqi blood confirms the existence of a Turkish occupation in northern Iraq."

Regarding the economic effects of the Turkish presence, Al-Husseini confirmed that "the Turkish incursion has caused the loss of Iraqi lands, which are 100% tourist lands for Iraq," adding: "There is a ban and limit on commercial exchange between these areas, considering that they are commercial areas," stressing that "the Turkish forces are laying their hands on the natural resources present in the lands they have taken control of."
