    [rtl]The Ministry of Planning confirmed today, Friday, that the general population census for each family will take 50 minutes, indicating that on the day of the census a curfew will be imposed throughout Iraq.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Ministry spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, said in a television statement, “The general census for each household will take 50 minutes, and the questions will be electronic,” explaining that “we will begin training 120,000 enumerators after the Eid.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]Al-Hindawi pointed out that “a curfew will be imposed on the day of the general population census.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]Iraq is preparing to conduct the general population and housing census on November 20 of this year, after years of postponement, as it will rely for the first time on technology by using tablets to fill out the census form.[/rtl]
    [rtl]It is noteworthy that the last population census was conducted in 1997, and it showed that the population of Iraq amounted to 22.33 million people, while the Ministry of Planning revealed last year in its official data that the population of Iraq in 2022 amounted to 42 million 248 thousand and 883 people, with an annual increase rate of 2.5 percent. .[/rtl]
