Training workshops to help the unemployed in Kirkuk

The Social Affairs and Organizations Department in the Kirkuk Local Government intends to open a department for the center in Hawija district to attract unemployed youth to its training workshops.
The department director, Safaa Al-Majar, said in an interview with Al-Sabah: A meeting with the Director of Labor and Social Affairs, in the presence of a representative of the United Nations Development Program, discussed the start of opening a department for the center in Hawija to attract unemployed youth to its training workshops, by adopting the construction of a training building including the workshops.
He stated that the project will provide job opportunities for the unemployed and develop their skills, as well as help those affected by the criminal gangs of "ISIS", to enhance their social integration, with the support of the United Nations Development Program, in addition to working on preparing an integrated program for the workshops that includes seven professions, which are sewing and embroidery, mobile phone maintenance, women's and men's hairdressing, installation and maintenance of clean energy systems, boards and control systems, refrigeration, and one specialized in lt.
