there are 2 major rivers in iraq, tigris and euphrates. there are numerous smaller ones, several large lakes, and loads of smaller ones.

Studied in world history about Tigris and Euphrates (cradle of civilization) but didn't know if this was one of them or not. Thanks fonz.
