Root vegetables yield surprisingly mellow, sweet juices. Although these two ingredients may sound like a strange partnership, beets and oranges are a match made in heaven.

Ingredients:
- 4 navel oranges
- 3 red beets
- Ice cubes as needed
Directions:
Peel, quarter and seed the oranges. Scrub, trim and quarter the beets. In an extractor, juice the oranges and beets.Fill 2 or 3 glasses with ice, pour in the juice and serve immediately. Serves 2 or 3.
