    Kurdish sources informed that the Kurdish delegation's visit to Washington, which began two days ago, will focus on intensifying U.S. pressure on Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to end the ongoing series of differences with the Kurdistan region and resolve the outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil. The sources told that the meeting of Kurdish regional president Massoud Barzani with Kurdish forces and parties concluded the futility of dialogue efforts to repair relations with the federal government, amid continuing approach the prime minister and his coalition to raise disagreements with the Kurds within the government and parliament.
