Baghdad Investment Authority is seeking through the implementation of new projects to provide 130 000 housing units and create thousands of jobs in the capital. The head of the body Shaker Zamili to seek the advancement of the reality of urban capital through the vacation body for many investment projects implemented with funds of the private sector and not from the general budget of the state.
He Zamili in a statement to «the existence of 77 new projects in Baghdad will provide more than 130,000 housing units and several job opportunities for the people ofBaghdad », saying:» we are working in cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities to overcome the obstacles that hinder the investment process ».
the most prominent of these projects, residential flowers complex in Enairah area and Kiarh, and Residential Complex hands in Daoudi area, as it provide 6089 residential units and these units are implemented for the benefit of citizens and some employees ofgovernment institutions.
The Board has granted 341 vacation investment projects distributed among the various sectors, as explained Zamili that, in addition to residential complexes, has been granted leave for 60 commercial projects, while the spread of other projects between theindustrial and tourism sectors and educational, health and agricultural. According Zamili, these projects, which has direct, and provided more than 30,000 jobs directly and indirectly, expressed hope that achieved a greater chance of work and more after thecompletion of the ratification of the design and delivery of land for 140 projects in thecoming months.
He urged the head of the bodies planning and land owners to speed up the completion of the procedures for the purpose of achieving the desired goal in advancing economic development and the provision of more than a million jobs and achieve the principle ofreconstruction and investment. He also stressed the full support of investors and provide all the facilities guaranteed by the Investment Law No. 13 of 2006 amending, especially as the investment projects are you working on bodies of investment projects are funded by the private sector and not from the state budget.[/rtl]
