    Wasit Provincial Council, announced theformation of an ad hoc committee to look into a contract between the Ministry of Agriculture and one of the specialized production of fish local businesses, while noting the existence of problematic technical and legal in the contract, confirmed that the company 's site due to "environmental and health damage" to the population. 
    The vice president Wasit Turkish Aghannimoa Council in a statement received (range Press) copy of it, "briefed the Cabinet on the site of the Tigris Fish Company in hand Tajuddin (120 km north of Kut) , where there are many complaints from citizens about the health and environmental company damaged their lives." 
    He added Aghannimoa , that " the lakes project the company operates 450 all dunums lakes submerged inwater since the former regime and until now , " noting that " the said company has a contract with the Ministry of Agriculture dates back to before 2003 , which is holding a lot of technical and legal problems." 
    He continued Aghannimoa , that " the residents of the area already have made ​​several complaints to the local government about the damage caused by the project has already been stopped in 2003 , the fact that theproject lands are located within the municipality of the limits on the part of the other hand , there were many irregularities in the contract." 
    the vice president of the Council of Wasit to "the administration unveiled its part for many correspondences with the local government and management to maintain the process to stop the project completely but the reality is quite different , where not stopped working on this project did not respond to the Ministry ofAgriculture to the demands of the area that was deprived of a large area can be distributed residential land to citizens who are suffering from a crisis in housing. " 
    He explained Aghannimoa," the Council Having briefed the ground on the reality of this company decided toform a special committee to investigate the contract between the Ministry of Agriculture and company Tigris fish and how to work on the project after the decision of the competent discontinuation of its actors in 2007 ,"pointing out that" the Board will take appropriate legal action on according to what is being reached by thecommittee which will form for this purpose. " 
    the Tigris fish company , or what is known as" Essaouira fish project "is one of the largest fish projects in Iraq and produces various types of local fish and it was this project before 2003 is administered and invested by the former leaders of the regime.
