Official: Gas production in southern Iraq, 700 million cubic feet per day

, said an Iraqi energy official, on Thursday, said that gas production in southern Iraqamounted to 700 million cubic feet per day.
According to Reuters , quoting official said that "gas production in southern Iraq now stands at 700 million cubic feet , " expected " to rise to one billion cubic feet per day by the end of the year 2017".
He added that " the Iraqi South Gas Company began pumping gas into a new pipeline with a capacity of 200 million cubic feet per day."
