Shafaq News / A security source in Nineveh province said that the police arrested on Saturday eight wanted on charges of terrorism, and seized a tanker to steal fuel from oil pipelines in Mosul.
“The federal police carried out this morning raid and search operations in the areas of the right side of Mosul city, where it has arrested eight wanted men and seized a tanker dedicated to steal fuel from the line strategic,” the source told “Shafaq News”.
“The process was based on accurate intelligence information," noting, that "detainees were transferred to the concerned authorities to complete the investigative and required judicial proceedings,” the source said.
Mosul City, (about 402 km north of Baghdad)the center of Nineveh province suffer from the spread of armed groups that carry out various operations such as murder, bombings and kidnappings, as well as the collection of "royalties" from traders and rich people to support their elements .
