    [ltr]Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Six security elements and civilian were injured on Monday due to an Improvised Explosive Device in eastern Mosul.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Car bomb exploded targeting army patrol in Kukajli district of eastern Mosul, killing and wounding 23 persons including 16 soldiers.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Security source told IraqiNews.com “An IED that was emplaced on a roadside in Muthana neighborhood to the east of Mosul exploded targeting army patrol, thus resulted in injuring three soldiers and a civilian.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“On other hand, three policemen were injured when an IED blew up targeting Ant-Terrorism Dept patrol in Ba’ath neighborhood of eastern Mosul.[/ltr]
    [ltr]“Security force rushed to the explosion place, then transported the injured to a hospital for treatment,” according to the source.[/ltr]
