Anbar: The government did not inform us of the cancellation of the contract with the American company on securing the international road

Anbar council member Fahad al-Rashed said on Saturday that the central government has not informed the province of the suspension of the contract of the American company responsible for securing and rehabilitating the international highway in western Anbar.
"The central government has not informed us of the cancellation or cancellation of the contract between the central government and the American Insurance Company and the rehabilitation of the international highway in western Anbar," Al-Rashed said in a statement.
"The company has signed the contract in the presence of representatives of the central government, the Ministry of Transport and the US Embassy in Baghdad," he said. "The efforts to rebuild and rehabilitate the affected bridges are progressing at a growing pace by humanitarian organizations, the Reconstruction Fund for Liberated Cities and the World Bank."
Anbar Council member Farhan al-Dulaimi admitted on Thursday that there were differences between the US company and the Ministry of Transport prevented the process of rehabilitating the international highway to the west of Anbar until now.
It is noteworthy that the American contract for the rehabilitation of the international highway to the west of Anbar is confused by several ambiguous points, which raised the reactions of the political circles, which expressed their resentment of the role of Washington to sabotage the policy of the Iraqi state and the country.
