The boycott countries issue a new statement against Qatar

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt on Monday issued a joint statement on the current Gulf crisis, accusing Qatar of trying to improve its image to the international community by claiming its readiness for dialogue.
The statement was delivered to the United Nations Human Rights Council at the UN headquarters in Geneva, Obeid Zaabi, in response to recent statements by Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman al-Thani.
The statement said the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt "are using the right to respond to the counterfeiting of facts contained in the Qatari Foreign Minister's statement, which reflects only the continuation of the Qatari approach in attempting to mislead the international public towards the reality of the political crisis. Speech of hatred and sedition and interference in the internal affairs of countries, not as the Foreign Minister of Qatar claimed that they are biased to human rights and the right to decide the people for their own destiny. "
The 4 countries considered that this "confirms that the allegations made by the Foreign Minister of Qatar that his government's willingness to dialogue is an attempt to improve its image before the international community and world public opinion without changing its hostile policies. Which prompted the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to issue a statement on 30 June 2017 expresses its deep regret over misleading reports in the Qatari media. "
The statement added that the countries of the province "emphasizes the need for Qatar to stop supporting radical ideologies and terrorist ideas and the dissemination of hate speech and incitement to violence, which has been systematically done for years."
The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have also accused Qatari institutions of publishing false reports about "the absence of any traces of the actions taken by the four countries and that life is normal." These statements come "while those institutions completely ignore the decisions that have been taken."
At the end of the statement, the four countries referred to what she described as "the lack of wisdom in the Qatari minister's speech," saying that his remarks "do not reflect the existence of sincere intentions to positively deal with the efforts exerted by the Emir of Kuwait."
