{Baghdad: Al Furat News} Revealed the decision of the House of Representatives on the collection of signatures to vote on the dissolution of Kirkuk Governorate Council.
"I started collecting signatures and I will complete them tomorrow to resolve the Kirkuk provincial council, declare a state of emergency and appoint a military commander to rule Kirkuk if the insistence on including Kirkuk continues with a referendum," MP Niyazi Miramaroglu said in a brief statement. The House of Representatives voted in its meeting on Thursday to remove the governor of Kirkuk, Najmuddin Karim at the request of Prime Minister Haider Abadi to exceed his powers to raise the flag of the Kurdistan region on the institutions of the province and its inclusion in the referendum on secession from Iraq. The governor of Kirkuk promised to remove him illegally and confirmed that the referendum is still in the province. "It is noteworthy that the parliament of the Kurdistan region voted in its meeting this evening after a break of two years to approve the referendum on September 25, despite the rejection of Baghdad and regional and major countries.
