[ltr]The diplomat said that "about 1.4 thousand people from the families of these" alarm ", including children, are still detained by the Iraqi authorities near the city of Mosul.[/ltr]
[ltr]The diplomat pointed out that the Iraqi authorities are in consultation with European governments to determine the fate of members of these families, but the government refuses to receive them.[/ltr]
[ltr]Earlier, the agency told Reuters that Colonel Ahmad al-Tai of the Iraqi army's Ninewa Operations Command said that the people of al-Dawash were being held under tight security measures pending the government's decision on their fate.[/ltr]
[ltr]Moscow began working with the Baghdad government immediately after the liberation of the city of Mosul in order to restore Russian-born children who were expelled by their hardline relatives from the country.
