    Shafaq News / The Cabinet during its regular session headed by Haider al-Abadi formed a working group to assess and assess the physical and human damages that hit the provinces of Sulaymaniyah, Diyala and other areas due to the earthquake that occurred on Sunday 12-11-2017 and the report of the immediate needs. 
    The Council, during its meeting on Tuesday, held a deliberative meeting between the representatives of the Ministries of Interior, Reconstruction, Housing and Municipalities on activating the work of the central balances according to the laws and regulations in force of the ministries and monitoring the violations and proposing practical solutions to regulate the work of the weights stations. 
    The council voted on an Iraqi project and vision for the future of the region based on development and security rather than differences and wars.
    A 10 billion dinar of emergency reserves was allocated to the Ministry of Health for the purpose of financing drug contracts, according to the ministry's highest priority. 
    The Council of Ministers also voted on the draft amendment to the first law of the Integrity Commission No. 30 of 2011. The 
    Council also voted to reduce the categories of customs duties. 
    The Council discussed the situation in the region and its repercussions on Iraq and the peoples of the region and Iraq's firm position to stay away from the axis and play a role in the calm because what is happening in the region will harm all its peoples. 
    During the meeting, a report on the Derbandikhan dam and the damage caused by the earthquake was presented and the Ministry of Water Resources was authorized to invite international companies to prepare a comprehensive assessment. 
    The vote was also launched on the financing of 41 billion dinars for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of water and sanitation services to improve the service side in this area.
