Saudi Arabia's Al Watan newspaper reported Tuesday that only 10 percent of patients with leukemia who need bone marrow transplantation receive treatment while the rest suffer from a lack of centers and scarcity of doctors.
"The existing centers are only sufficient to treat 10 percent of cancer patients and patients in general, and this may be due to the large therapeutic cost," the paper said in a report.
