The US representative in the international coalition against the organization, urging Brit Mkgork, on Wednesday, expressed optimism about the dialogue between Erbil and Baghdad.

"There are happy results in the dialogue between the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, including the payment by Baghdad of the full salaries of staff of the Ministry of Water Resources in the Kurdistan Region," wrote McGregor on his social networking site Twitter.

He added that "a number of committees will follow up as soon as possible on the salaries of employees of the Ministries of Health and Education in the Government of Kurdistan."

The Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi had announced during a press conference on Tuesday to start distributing salaries to the staff of the Ministry of Water Resources in the provincial government as well as auditing the salaries of the Ministry of Education and Health in Kurdistan.

Abadi said during the press conference that he commissioned the Federal Ministry of Finance to visit the region in order to audit the salaries of all employees of Kurdistan.
