The House of Representatives will resume its first session of the legislative term on Wednesday after a one-month break. The agenda includes the first reading of the law of the general budget 2018, and discuss a draft law on the rights of the Turkmen component. "The parliament will hold Wednesday, the first session of the second legislative term for the first reading of the draft federal budget law of the Republic of Iraq for the fiscal year 2018," the Information Service of the House of Representatives said in a statement seen by the (range).
The statement added that "the Council will complete the vote on the draft law of the Nursing Association, in addition to the resignation of a member of the House of Representatives and take the constitutional oath of the alternative." The session will witness, according to the statement, "the first reading of the proposed law of the first amendment to the law of the Counter-Terrorism No. 31 of 2016 and the first reading of the draft law of the first amendment to the law of quarantine No. 76 of 2012." The agenda of the session includes "a report and discussion of the proposed law of the House of Representatives and its composition, as well as the report and discussion of the draft law amending the Penal Code contained in the Penal Code No. 111 of 1969 amending and other special laws No. 6 of 2008. During the session, he is scheduled to present "the report and discussion of the draft law on the rights of Turkmen, in addition to the report and discussion of the proposed law of Samarra, the capital of Islamic culture."
