Its board: Nineveh is a safe environment for investment

Ninewa Governorate Council confirmed that the province is a safe environment for investment after being cleared of terrorist gangs and organizing the management of the security file of the administrative units as well as chasing and tracing the remnants of terrorist pockets throughout the province.
Council member Husam al-Din al-Abbar said in a press statement that Nineveh province is the hardest hit by terrorism and must be given the lion's share of investment projects, despite the insufficient grants and projects allocated to Iraq from the recently concluded donor conference in Kuwait.
"We hope to implement the outputs of the conference of investment donors in Kuwait in the actual Nineveh and the affected provinces and we hope that Nineveh will get the benefit of investment projects in proportion to the amount of damage and destruction left by terrorist gangs over the past years."
Al-Abbar pointed to the need for Nineveh to grant more projects than the Kuwait conference, especially the right side of Mosul, after the province was free from any terrorist threats that hinder reconstruction and investment.
The conference ended with the participation of 70 countries and 1,838 investment companies. The conference concluded with several recommendations and outputs, most notably Iraq's $ 30 billion for reconstruction and reconstruction in areas affected by terrorist operations and events.
