Call on French companies to invest in Basra

"The meeting discussed the development of economic and investment relations, as well as reviewing the opportunities available in the province, for the purpose of the participation of French companies to invest in the fields of electric power and the establishment of metro and projects of petrochemical and agricultural industries," Eidani said in a statement. The governor added that "Basra plans to benefit in the coming period from the experiences of the French side in the fields of infrastructure and various investments, in addition to the benefit of French expertise in providing the best services for the citizen visual." For his part, Obier said, "the willingness of major French companies to work within the province of Basra in development projects that serve the citizens."
