Deputy Prime Minister Hussain al-Shahristani, on Saturday that Iraq has a large industrial ingredients are not available in other countries, noting that Iraq will return one of the important agricultural countries in the region in the event of its focus on the development of the agricultural and industrial reality in it.

Shahristani said in an interview for "Alsumaria News" that "Iraq has the advantage and industrial ingredients are not available in the rest of the countries in the region," and urged international companies to "consider Iraq as a base to large industrial possible to feed the needs of the region."

Shahristani said that "the international companies in case it came to Iraq and established factories in Iraq, it will find raw materials and sources of cheap energy Lloyd worker intern and professional," adding that "Iraq has a large market both within Iraq or the region in general."

He said al-Shahristani said, "Industry can play an important role in the agricultural side through manufacturing factories," pointing out that "Iraq will return one of the important agricultural countries in the region, the bread basket of the region, in the event of its focus on the development of the agricultural and industrial reality in it."

He acknowledged the Iraqi parliament in October 2006 Iraqi investment law, which it was said at the time that it would open the door to foreign investment, due to submit a lot of facilities to foreign investors, but many foreign companies are still hesitant because of fears that the security situation is stable in Iraq, adding that the law did not give investors the right to ownership of the property for the project.

It is incumbent upon investors to submit their projects to the National Commission for Investment, or the Investment Commission of the region, or province, for investment licenses, and can apply for investment license to the "circle of single window", developed by the National Investment Commission, and authorized to inform the investor's decision to the Commission the final in 45 days to eliminate administrative red tape in granting investment license, but this circuit is still disabled, which made a lot of investors are suffering
