Pointing out that this law also limit the economic and financial mess now, so this will provide more protection to merchant and enhances the reliability of the Iraqi economy, in addition to the control of the funds in accordance with the work programmed by the customs service and the Ministry of finance to ensure the safety of the entry and exit of goods.
The Ministry of Finance of goods which will include law of the customs tariff, goods which weren't specific to Iraq and not market prices directly related to people's daily life.
The head of a body of advisers to the Cabinet in a statement to (news of the Iraqi media network) that "the application of the law on customs tariffs on selected goods will contribute to the protection of the product, which comes in the framework of the development of industrial capacities."
Ghadhban predicted to begin the process of applying the customs tariff act before the end of the month. and assigned the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of finance last June by creating procedures and supplies in border areas for the purpose of commencement of application of the customs tariff. and the new customs tariff Act passed by the House of representatives to repeal the tariffs (77) Act 1955, Coalition Provisional Authority order (now defunct) No. 54 2004 (trade liberalization policy 2004), Coalition Provisional Authority order No. 38/2003 (Iraq reconstruction tax, as amended).
